    James W. Langley
    D.V.M.
    Veterinarian​

    Dr. Langley graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 54 years. He founded Langley Animal Hospital in July of 1975. Throughout the years, he has provided exceptional veterinary services and compassion for all of his patients.

    Katie Higgins
    Veterinarian​

    Dr. Higgins graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, through a cooperative Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine at University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She is most recently from Papillion but has travelled extensively during her military service with the highlight being the 4 years she spent in Japan. Dr. Higgins lives with her active-duty military husband and two young daughters. Her ever-increasing menagerie at home consists of three cats, a dog, a Sulcata, a tegu, 2 snakes, lovebirds, a conure, rats, and a bearded dragon. Dr. Higgins has a passion for working with many different types of animals including exotics (reptiles, birds, and pocket pets), large and small animals. She focuses in ophthalmology and orthopedics. In her free time, Dr. Higgins enjoys reading and playing games.

  • Jillian B. Yarpe
    L.V.T.
    Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Jillian (Jill) received her Associate Degree of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, IA and is licensed in the state of Nebraska. She graduated with honors in May 2008. Jill has always had a fondness and compassion towards animals from a young age. She enjoys the nursing care aspect of the veterinary profession and being an advocate for her patients. She is passionate about dentistry, laboratory work, and dermatology in small animals. Jill is married and has two young boys. She has two cats and a newly adopted puppy. Jill enjoys patient care and client education. She had been with Langley Animal Hospital since May 2008.

    Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

    Morgan is an assistant who works her hardest to ensure her patients are happy and comfortable! Here are the kittens she fostered this past Spring.

    Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

    McKenzie is a veterinary assistant joining the team this summer. Her energy and smiles keep the team running!

    Luke enjoys working with animals and helping to improve their lives. He is always ready with a smile and a joke. 

  • Mark Barta
    Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

    Mark left the legal community to begin grooming school. At Langley Animal Hospital, he is getting better acquainted with caring for your furry family while gaining valuable experience for his grooming career.
